"Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written.
I sat, one afternoon, and had a nice long conversation with a homeless man. Very nice man, great conversation. The man's name was Arlis, and the result was the song 'Arlis'. I still see him from time to time. Give the song a listen and see what you think.
One of the most fun songs I have written is 'Closer'. Extracting nearly each line straight from scripture (Psalms) I really just put Gods words and promises to music. 'Closer' is full of promises. God will and is: Never sleep, our Rock, a very present help in times of trouble, our Strength, a steady hand. He knows us better than we know ourselves and loves us that much more. Most importantly He promises to bring us closer as we seek him! Give 'Closer' a listen and read Psalms 139. God is bigger than anything we face!
There came a time when my parents faith became my own. Suddenly I realized my weakness and need of a savior. I also realized He would never leave me and there was no where I could go to hide from Him. He knows my very hearts disires and hurts. He collects my prayers and tears. This is the basis for the song 'Home'. Probably one of my oldest songs in this list but it never gets old. His Mercy and Grace are new everyday! Give 'Home' a listen and tell me what you think.

In My Time
'Inside Your Hands'...Sometimes weakness, doubt, hurt, a horrible day, or depression can cripple us. It is in those times we have the promise resting place. In the Hands of a God who loves us and has his very best intended us. It's in His hands we find rest and strength because it is His hands that fight the unseen battle for us. The battle was won when He stretched his hands out for us. Hold on tight, relief is on the way!
Inside Your Hands
'Without You'...Life moves on whether we want it to or not. I'm not as young as I used to be and I can never get those times back. What I can do is continue to move forward looking toward the rich blessings God has in store. When I put Him first I see who I was really meant to be. He is the 'pillow' that broke my fall. "I don't need me, I don't like what I see, I am nothing, Without You."
Do You Remember me
A special song from a special son. Danny (Tandem Walk), wrote this and surprised me with it for a Mother's Day a couple of years ago. It brought me to tears. We never know as parents what little thing we do will be remembered in a special way. Thank you, Danny
